Read More even agreed with us that this wasn't right. We reached out several times and we were simply told we were the class to try this out on. Not cool. They call themselves a faith based school but I don't buy it. I'm a Christian and after asking for a refund they of course denied me. I later found out that the school was broke and that is why I wasn't able to get a refund. Instead I'm still paying for the loan I took out for the course a long with the other classmates I had. We are all very upset with the outcome. Non of us have gotten a job yet. Don't make the mistake we all made in trusting bethel as a faith based school.

Read More creates an environment where you are considered family and not just a number. My teachers were amazing. I got the combination of great teaching and faith building. After graduating Bethel Tech, I gained skills in UI/UX design and confidence. I met with Career Services weekly to help me find a job. I found a job 5 months after graduating. I continue to keep in touch with several people from Bethel Tech. It's a school and place where we want to see each other win! This is a great place for an amazing education (no prior experience needed) and community.

Besides the technical skills you are also trained and enabled in spiritual aspects to have a comprehensive experience and preparation also in leading and serving at a new position in the future.

I had no background prior to enrolling to Bethel Tech. I was afraid and unsure if I could learn coding. But Bethel Tech proved me wrong. I was surrounded by a great support of current and alumni students who were always willing to help when I needed it.... Read More I had an assigned coding mentor, and spiritual mentor as well! I was getting mentored in coding and also mentored in my walk with God…absolutely amazing! After I graduated, I was once again surrounded by a great support from Career Services which help you become ready and prepare for job searching. Within 2 months of graduating, I got my first coding job as a software developer! Bethel Tech is the place to be to begin your journey in coding!

My experience at Bethel School of Technology has been an amazing one! It’s truly a unique program in that it partners your growth in coding skills along with growth in your own faith. This was something that was very important to me because many bootcamps... Read More provide the coding skills but I was hungry for more of Jesus and to continue to grow in my faith so this was the place to be. The technical preparation was very strong I felt – there were lessons in different languages followed up projects that required a lot of self-study and figuring things out on your own (very much the real world). However, there were many instructors available to meet with me whenever I ran into a problem with my code or project. While they would help me with parts of the assignment they would also challenge me to google certain topics so I can continue to grow as a developer. The capstone project was also something that I really enjoyed and learned a lot from. My teammate and I built a workout app which I then spoke to in my interviews and it came off really well. In terms of the faith component, that was probably my favorite part because we were reading several books written by Bethel Church pastors which helped me to grow in my identity in Jesus.

Coming from a professional background in carpentry, with a bachelors degree in music, I had absolutely zero knowledge or experience in anything related to technology. Starting from the ground up in design fundamentals as a UI/UX student, I was exposed... Read More to how good design related to good design principles. Then through a series of events, I had the opportunity to double-down on schooling and re-enroll in the Full Stack program Bethel Tech offered in order to help round out my skillset and give my designs the teeth it needed to be competitive. Finally after 18 months, with both UI/UX design and Full Stack under my belt, I landed my first job interview with a VP of a tech company significantly invested in AI. That led into my technical interview the next day thus subsequently being offered a full-time role as a Jr. User Experience Developer in React. I completely shifted careers in my mid-thirties, married with three small kids. Over-doubling my salary in an entry level position, in a cutting edge field of Artificial Intelligence. I owe every bit of gratitude to Bethel Tech!
