The QA Bundle course offered by Careerist is designed to take students from beginners to proficient QA Automation Engineers.

It combines three courses—Manual QA, QA Automation, and SQL—into a comprehensive 10-month program, requiring 6-8 hours of study per week. Students learn through expert-led classes, hands-on practice, and internships, focusing on testing websites and apps, creating test cases, writing bug reports, and using Python for automation.

Career coaching in the Careerist program focuses on providing individualized guidance to help participants navigate the tech industry successfully. This personalized support aims to equip students with the necessary skills, confidence, and strategies to secure employment in their desired field. Through one-on-one sessions, career coaches work closely with students to identify their strengths, improve their job search strategies, prepare for interviews, and ultimately assist them in achieving their career goals within the tech sector.

QA Automation + Python

Course Description:

The Careerist QA Automation bootcamp is a total of 15 weeks: 5 weeks for the first bootcamp lesson followed by 10 weeks of intensive online training. Students will be prepared for jobs as Test Automation Engineers. Bootcamp students will learn Python, OOP, PyCharm, Selenium WebDriver, Behave, GitHub, and Git. QA Automation students will learn window handling, test data separation, page object pattern, and expected conditions library. Bootcamp students will learn basic algorithms and Big O: Fibonacci. Students will learn popular interview algorithm tests such as Array Pair Sum, Largest Continuous Sum, String Compression, and Unique Characters in a String. Finally, QA Automation bootcamp students will learn sorting, merge sort, quick sort, and bubble sort.

Our training makes QA Automation approachable for all (Manual QA background required.) Learn UI testing with Selenium and Behave (Page Object Pattern.) Master Automation the popular language Python, and become an in-demand QA Engineer.

From the very beginning, I was impressed by the structure and quality of the course. The lessons were clear, well-organized, and designed to progressively build my knowledge and skills in Software Quality Assurance.

The instructors were exceptional. They were not only experts in the field but also very open, passionate and dedicated during delivery. Careerist also offered invaluable career coaching and support in preparation for job search.

The hands-on internship component was the major highlight for me. It provided real-world experiences that solidified the concepts I was taught. I think that this practical exposure has given me the confidence I need to take on real SQA tasks.

Drawbacks? Despite my initial concerns about the length and timing of the classes--being from the East Coast—the engaging nature of the classes made the long hours worth it.

Overall, the Careerist bootcamp exceeded my expectations in every way. The supportive environment, combined with expert instruction and valuable practical experience, made for a truly enriching learning journey. I feel well-prepared to start my career in Software Quality Assurance.

I have not yet started the final part of the program -actual Job Search-so I am unable to comment on that aspect at this time (I will return to do so at a future date). However, I am very optimistic and confident in my abilities due to the comprehensive training I’ve received. I am really looking forward to beginning that phase next week and I am eager to apply the skills I’ve learnt throughout the program.
