Read More stated that the curriculum they get through their degree programs doesn't prepare them because they don't extensively get to participate in hands on labs. The instructors are real world experienced individuals at Claim Academy, and are very knowledgeable. They are truly invested in the success of the students. I have recommended the program to so many of my friends.

I found this course very comprehensive. I learned a lot of things in a very short period of time. I went into Claim using the VET TEC program so it was paid for. I liked the bootcamp idea and the fact that important skills are targeted to help students be successful in their job hunting. Instructors are very knowledgeable and they did a great job shrinking the material so we can absorb just enough in this time... Read More frame of 12 weeks. However, I also realize there's so much that many people will not be able to complete the training. Recommendations I personally enjoyed the pre-course teaching style more. For people who did not know much like me, shorter videos explaining a particular concept will make their learn easy. Lecture time should be when we bring concepts together to accomplish something. I know it may be too much to ask but it will reduce future work tremendously and it will also be very effective. Shorter videos (15 minutes max) explaining one key concept at a time. I was about to give when we started object oriented programming because I could not connect the dot for some reason. I found a guy on YouTube called Alex Lee and watched a 10-minute video where he explained main idea behind object oriented programming and that changed everything. That is why I personally think shorter videos will be great just like those of pre-course lectures. Thank you anyway for mentoring us and help us grow professionally.

Pros- Intensive, immersive, from Array, Hello World, to Databases, API's.... It's truly fullstack and all cylinders for the entire 12 weeks. Clear your calendar!!!! Learn arrays, hash tables, algorithms, You will receive exposure to every tech needed to make a f/s application....... HTML, CSS, BootStrap, PostMan, databases, MYSQL, REACT, JAVA, Javascript, ide......... Be sure you know some fundamentals such as what an ide is and how to use it...... Be sure you know how to use the command line, make directories, folders, files and how to navigate to them via cmd line & GUI.... know your OS, RAM, HDD/SSD size, (oh if you are using a HDD computer.. just don't) . Know how to download / install / run 3rd party software. Be sure you keep your phone pen/ paper handy for class daily to take notes, and your phone for pictures. The exposure is excellent and the pathway to ascension is there for you to follow!!!! The curriculum is constantly updating and the support is very good... Be prepared to participate daily by providing feedback and asking knowledgeable questions... Create Zoom's for your immediate group and for larger cohort members to support each other.... The ability to have industry professional teaching a course is akin to combining the classroom knowledge, with a field / internship model / real world application. AMAZING... .
