Our syllabuses in Data Science and Web Development are designed to fit perfectly to the recommendations we get from the industry and the Senate of the city of Berlin. Contemporaneous we want to assure you get a maximum of individual adjustments towards your personal development, the freedom to take ownership over your projects with the proximity of private tutoring. During the entire program our mentors are onsite to support you through the classes and adjust your goals to your learning progress. This way Code Academy Berlin offers individual solutions to absolute beginners as well as to more advanced coders. All classes are designed in project based modules which follow the agile/ SCRUM framework you will later find in your work environment as well. Starting with daily stand-up meetings, structure your tasks in sprints and present your results in code reviews in front of your colleagues and mentors.

For all program lines, our career service is included. In 1 to 1 coaching sessions and workshops which cover the full recruitment cycle, you will gain valuable insights on the german job market and get the best preparation possible to master the start of your career.

Code Academy Berlin has been officially certified by AZAV, which means you can take our courses free of charge with a Bildungsgutschein. A Bildungsgutschein is an educational voucher issued by the German Employment Agency (the Agentur für Arbeit). Course Description:

Once you have acquired all the necessary skills of a Data Analyst, we prepare you with Business skills and Big Data Cloud Technologies. You will learn Tableau/Google Studio, Google Cloud Dataproc (implementing Apache Spark), BigQuery, SparkML (with Python) and a lot more. Apache Spark: It runs programs up to 100x faster than Hadoop MapReduce in memory, or 10x faster on disk. You would learn the architecture and implement it.

Course Description:

This course aims at preparing students to have solid fundamentals of Python and Statistics with a special emphasis on SQL & Cloud Technologies. Once you grasp the concepts of Pandas and Numpy, you will start mastering Data Visualization Techniques with Matplotlib, Seaborn and Plotly coupled with Plotly express. You will learn how to deal with Time Series data and implement a Forecast model with the ARIMA, SARIMA along with the latest technologies like Facebook Prophet. Web scraping e-commerce giants to get Business & Marketing insights will help you understand the key concepts of Marketing KPIs and its real life use cases. You will learn the concepts of Python Flask and master Cloud Technologies.

Course Description:

After harnessing all the skills of a Data/ Business Analyst, you are all set to know the next level Machine Learning which is Deep Learning. This course will teach you best practices for using Tensorflow, a popular open source framework for machine learning & deep learning. It would teach you how to use TensorFlow to implement those principles so that you can start building and applying scalable models to real-world problems. You will explore how to work with real-world images in different shapes and sizes and transform it before feeding it to the algorithms. It would help you understand how computers see and process the information. You will learn to process text, including tokenizing and representing sentences as vectors, so that they can be input to a neural network. You’ll also learn to apply RNNs, GRUs, and LSTMs in TensorFlow.

Course Description:

In this course you will learn the fundamentals of Front-End Web Development and all the necessary tools to create your first website and Progressive Web Applications (PWA). You will use HTML and CSS to create and style the pages following your design mockups and at the end you will deploy to the world wide web. Afterward you will learn how to create interactive websites using JavaScript and responsive web applications with more advanced frameworks such as React or Vue.

● Gatsby: is a Front-End framework based on React that helps creating static pages pulling data from anywhere (CMS, Markdown, Databases). It has been gaining popularity recently thanks to its great SEO (search engine optimization) capabilities.
● Typescript: is a JavaScript typed language which you can use in both Front-End (JavaScript, React, Vue) and Back-End. It has always been widely used in companies because it saves you time catching errors and providing fixes before you run your code.
