I hope this review helps provide perspective to other families on our very frustrating and poor experience with CodeYoung.

First, the initial sales pitches were annoying. Several different people called incessantly, and clearly, there was no communication... Read More between them.

Second, we were provided with a good mentor who conducted the demo class (and who we liked). He assured us that he was available to be the mentor to conduct our class. But after signing up, we were told he was no longer available. We were then given two more junior mentors to try out. They were both sub-par. They were reading a script. It was hard to understand their accent, and it was not at all what we signed up for. We finally were told the mentor we were originally promised would free up in a few weeks. Consequently, we started our sessions many weeks later than originally planned (with less frequency than intended, given scheduling/availability).

Third, the salesperson was an outright liar. He misrepresented our right to cancel in case things didn't work out. He told us we could cancel if unhappy and we would get a refund (beyond the first initial downpayment). He sent us documents to e-sign, and when asked why it said something different from what we agreed on, he said it was just standard corporate documents and that we should not worry about it. Fast forward to date, the company kept charging our credit card (despite the protracted delay at their end as the promised mentor was not available), and when we asked to cancel the course, CodeYoung refused to honor the refund policy, saying it is clearly spelled out in the docs signed. On asking for cancellation, I instructed them to review the call with their salesperson, who clearly misrepresented the situation, and they claimed they didn't have records kept back in time.

Fourth, weak technology: communicating with CodeYoung through WhatsApp has not smooth. You often first reach an automated system, and it takes a while to figure out how to actually speak to someone. Calls are frequently plagued by poor connections, and the portal is plagued with errors.

CodeYoung (in concept) is a nice idea, but it is plagued by terrible execution, poor customer experience, and a hit-or-miss with the quality of education it offers.

This program resulted in an entire wasted summer, planned to learn Python / AI, but ended up being a total write-off. Additionally a lot of money was lost due to the company's refusal to honor the refund policy represented to us.

One favorable mention: The instructor in our demo class, who we were finally given (Mr. Shikar), was nice. He was sincere and polite, but, unfortunately, things have not worked out.

You get what you pay for! We will clearly not work with (or recommend) CodeYoung ever again.

Joined based on a offer. The representative talked nicely during the demo session and made to join with the full refund offer. But the refund wasn’t provided as promised during the demo session. It was only partial refund. I am literally following up... Read More for more than six months. And I am tired and ending up with this review now. Please don’t join this with any offers provided during the demo/enrollment session. They will make only false promises and convince you to join with some false offer. But they don’t keep it !!!!!
