You have to work it. They teach you what real world is like. 10/10

To be completely honest, I did not go through any cons during my time at Coding Temple. I always put in a situation where I always had their support no matter if it was during, before or after class hours. I could contact the instructor with a question... Read More at 10pm and I would get answers right away. They had TA's ready for you at your convenience to get any sort of extra help or any questions you needed answering. They gave us so much interview prep to ensure that we will know how to react in any kind of interview environment. One thing that has stuck with me is that during the course one of the instructors had said "Once you enroll in Coding Temple, you're apart of Coding Temple for life". That statement is so accurate because even after graduation everyone is still in contact with each other and Coding Temple is always making sure their students are on the right path and helping us with anything we need. They give their students all the resources they need and they're always available for us. It's really a family environment where everyone looks out and cares for each other. One of the best decisions I made.

Connor was a great instructor, and could answer just about any question we had, and would tell us he didn't know or look up the answer if he couldn't. I would have preferred a little more structure/sticking to the structure laid out at the beginning of the course, but overall I definitely feel like I come out with a very good education, and feel qualified for a job in the industry.

The tech market in Boston is hot and companies are excited to to test and hire candidates from bootcamps. This was my biggest concern for after the program. Coding temple is in my opinion one of the best bootcamps. The small class size (<10) is perfect because it allows for more 1 on 1 interactions with the teacher and allows for very in-depth conversations about the topics. Connor, the instructor, is very... Read More knowledgeable, patient, calm and understands that everyone is at different points in their learning. The cirriculum is very encompassing, we started at the basics and worked our way up to developing full stack applications. Each student also has a responsibility to learn and review on their own. The pace is fast and you are expected to study the material. You usually spend anywhere from 1hr to 5 hrs a night working on assignment or projects depending on the day, and there are projects assigned for every weekend. The post-grad help is terrific Ripal is constantly checking in on everyone. I'd recommend to anyone in the process of choosing a bootcamp.

My instructor Joel Carter was informative, patient, and pushed us to limits I didn't know I had. It was a great class, and he answered all of our questions and helped us work through our coursework. The portfolio-based cirriculum is amazing to help kick-off your tech career. The course topics will prepare you for life in the world of tech. Ripal has been amazing with career advice, resume and cover letter review, and setting us up with the right people for networking. The transition to a new career is terrifying, but if you apply yourself you will be okay. Do the pre-work, show up EVERY day. Amazing things can happen for you here. When they told me my final project I would be launching a web application, I took a big gulp and was so nervous about it. But 10 weeks later there it is...my app! I couldn't be happier and I'm really looking forward to where this takes me in my career.
