I really liked the Full Stack Coding Bootcamp at Developers Institute. This course teaches about coding in a way that's easy to understand. The course was hard but very good. We used a system that was easy to use. We learned a lot of different coding... Read More languages. In the front-end part, I learned Python, JavaScript, and Bootstrap. In the back-end part, I learned Node.js, Django, and MySQL. These skills have helped me a lot in coding. The teachers were very helpful. They spent extra time with us to make sure we understood everything. They knew a lot and were very patient. The best part of the course was how friendly everyone was. It felt like a community where everyone helped each other. This made learning fun and less scary. The staff, especially Ziv and Lise, were great at helping us. The course also helped with finding a job. They checked our CVs and portfolios. But getting a job or internship can still be hard. You have to work hard for it. In short, the Developers Institute is a great place to learn about full-stack development. It’s hard work but you learn a lot and grow as a person.

Second part of the course was utterly unprofessional on the part of the teacher. Despite being nice and well-mannered, he failed to deliver us the knowledge of Python. There also was no assistance in career development on the part of the course, despite that being a part of the course.

In the front-end development segment, I learned to work with Python, JavaScript, and Bootstrap and On the back-end side, I gained proficiency in Node.js, Django, and MySQL. In addition to the technologies I was exposed to during the course, I want to highly commend both my instructor Yossi and our Teaching assistant Gaston who spent many hours with us students during and after the course hours in order for us to understand every little peeps. Couple weeks after finishing my final project, the Institute introduced me to a tech company for an internship. In my case, I had to do a tech interview and tasks. And I managed it well. Lastly, if you can, choose the onsite study option. Remote's okay, but being onsite lets you meet lots of new folks and make friends with current and promising software developers. Concerning after the bootcamp : the career coach really tried finding internship after graduation by checking your CV and portfolio. The issue is that its no 100% sure that they can find you something due to the actual economic situation in this domain and its something you should know..its taking time to find a job but they do try to help the best they can and its always nice to be supported ! Overall i recommend them .

My journey with Developers Institute was a great one, I came to this Bootcamp after trying numerous Udemy courses, also with a background in big Data engineering , and I believe it was a great decision. Read More was 3 sessions a week, sometimes we would just code a project while on zoom instead of a class, but I think this is what is so unique and productive about this Bootcamp, there is a collection of never ending exercises and lessons to learn on their platform! everyday you have around 2 must-do exercises, even on days you don't have a class, and about 3 more exercises to challenge yourself. I found the exercises to be extremely productive in taking what we learned in class to practice, and they generate so much 'fruit' , that anyone coming to this Bootcamp must understand that it takes hours of exercises per day to keep up with the level of the course. even though that nevertheless there is an enormous amount of self learning , I believe the advantages of the Full-time program are a must, in the Part time there was little to no interaction between me and the rest of the students in my group, even though it is 'on us' to create these friendships and connections, I believe the environment of studying together physically can produce a better learning experience. I now can confidently identify myself as a web Developer, as coming into this course I know the fundamentals of coding, but this course got me to understand every brick needed inorder to create a high functioning deployed web application, and I think that this is what was missing when I was trying to understand web development completely on my own. Nevertheless, there is a sensation of unity around this place, as you can approach anyone in Slack or even schedule a meeting in person (usually they are available in Google Meet or Zoom and most issues can be helped through that), everyone is friendly, and I sincerely get the feeling from them that they wish to help me as much as possible, with whatever tools they have to do that with. However, I feel that the Job Support part was a bit lacking throughout the course, even though the workshops surrounding socials, such as LinkedIn and setting up your CV, there weren't workshops about job interviews and more advanced parts of job searching, also, as the market in Israel right now is in a bit of a mess, the process of finding an internship through Developers Institute is still available , but is tedious and in 2 months I am yet to even receive a phone call from a company regarding an internship, although, It is certainly effected by the situation in the market, which Developers Institute have no control over obviously. In conclusion, I thoroughly advise you to take the leap, challenge yourself, and give it your all with this Bootcamp, as it is the best solution I can think of to make yourself into a Web Developer.
