Our academy offers two specific types of courses. Our SkillUp courses last from 2 days - 5 days and focus on a specific language course. A student with programming fundamentals can enhance his or her skills in WordPress, Microsoft .NET, and JavaScript.
Our SmartStart programs include a three-week foundations program in which you can ramp up your fundamentals of programming by starting with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. A student can also take a twelve week language specific course which includes the fundamentals and learning of a new language or framework while building soft skills to help with business acumen. Our WordPress immersive program starts with the basics of editing on the world's most used website building platform to custom development of websites.
We are accepting GI Bill funds for our JavaScript and .Net bootcamps.

"An Incredible Immersive Experience"
I had almost no coding experience when I took the Intro to iOS class at Eleven Fifty. They made programming a fun, easy-to-understand experience. I learned so much through the immersive experience that I was able to start a career in programming with... Read More

"This was a life-changing experience."
From what I've read, developer bootcamps often run for weeks and cost appropriately escalated sums of money. I say that taking a week-long course in-residence at Eleven Fifty Academy in the Indianapolis area is the sweet-spot of boot-camping. I don't... Read More

"Best Coding School Out There"
Eleven Fifty is like no other school out there. I took the 2-day Into to Computer Programming Course, and what a great experience. Coming in, I was nervous because I had no knowledge of coding whatsoever. But the instructor started with the absolute basics... Read More
What's more, everybody who works there makes it their goal to ensure you not only learn a ton, but that you also have a great time and feel at home. You walk around the house in slippers or socks, have your choice of snacks any time, and on the breaks you can take advantage of the pool table, fireplace, or many other amenities.
If you want to learn about coding, you couldn't find a better investment than Eleven Fifty!

"Great Course, Great Investment!"
I took the weekend Intro to Computer Programming course at Eleven Fifty and couldn't be happier! The instruction was phenomenal and very hands on, I was typing my own code and editing images and actually understanding what was being taught. I felt comfortable... Read More

"Week wasn't over and I was already saving for the Advanced course!"
I'm a CS student from Costa Rica and work for company on a per hour basis. Before I went back to school I used to build mobile apps using a JavaScript framework called Titanium for around six months, the experience was great and I thought I was ready... Read More
Not so much. My company picked me to build their new App, given that I had mobile experience it made perfect sense, but I struggled a lot, some bits seemed familiar, someone didn't. Given that Apple announced Swift not long ago I realized that this is where is at, the syntax was easy to pick up and there were a few resources popping up online. I needed to fast track and be able to take my previous skills to this new technology.
First attempt was doing online classes, that proved to be somehow successful, but I still needed to have someone that I could go to, someone who didn't go off a script and was there for me to hammer with questions, like how did X translated into Y? How do you do A and B? What's the best way to handle C and D? Basically a laundry list of questions for which, I couldn't find answers online. Until ElevenFifty found me. Long story short, I signed up for the January class, booked my flight and yes January in Indiana can get really cold, I didn't know how cold given that I live in a country where we call 60 degrees cold.
The experience was great, one of the founders, Scott Jones, is a real believer in immersion and after that week I am too. You show up at 8:30AM, and can stay as late as 10PM, of course you have breaks in between, some of them very fun. They'll provide all the meals, don't even have to worry about that, you are isolated and your only concern is learning, that's exactly what I needed. I couldn't put my life on hold for six months or six weeks, but a week was doable, a week is totally reasonable.
The instructor was great, the TAs were super helpful and the experience is something I truly think will turn around my career. I saw people who didn't have a coding background publish their app in a matter of three days! three! Suffice to say I'm already saving for the Advanced course.
Thanks, @leopyc

"Best Coding School Out There!"
I took this course a week ago, and I am now proficient at building apps. They definitely give you the building blocks to go out and build your own app once the course is over. Even though the course runs 12 hours a day, you do not get burnt out because... Read More
