Read More some other courses before, but their program did not correspond to the realities of employment, so after a long search and positive feedback, I went to GoIT and never regretted it). The curriculum is as relevant as possible. The material is easy to understand, we had access to many resources, homework is interactive and engaging, mentors are very accessible, and team projects are also exciting, which gave a fantastic experience and can be added to the resume, which I did (during interviews, I was often asked about these team projects). I started looking for a job abroad and sent my resume to about 6 companies. I received a response from 4 of them: one company invited me immediately to a technical interview, which I failed. One offered an internship, and another invited me to an interview with HR, then a technical task, then a technical interview, which I passed (almost all the questions were about the material we studied in the courses and also a lot about team projects) and in the end I received an offer, which I accepted. I worked as a programmer with React and Java. I had never studied Java, but the project needed a person with knowledge of both languages, so I took a mini-course in Java and started working. The feeling of finally working as a programmer was incredible. I remembered team projects from the courses, but this feeling was much better. The last company from which I received a response and an invitation to an interview was Amazon, but I wanted to know if I would pass. The process of interviews in such companies takes a long time. At the end of May last year, I sent my resume and received an offer in September after all the interviews (and there were many of them). The position I applied for was not a programmer, but there was an opportunity to move to that department and work as a programmer, so I accepted the offer. In general, I recommend GoIT courses and am very grateful for the knowledge and experience they provided.

I was taking the Fullstack Developer course. I was delighted with the course. The program is well structured, and it is clear from the beginning what awaits you. We went through each section step by step with no failures or unpleasant surprises. The material... Read More is varied. There is both theory and practice. There are homework assignments, and what is very important is that these assignments were checked on time and I received feedback. I could always ask my mentor for help and get it quickly. A significant part of the course was team projects after each part, which allowed me to feel the atmosphere of teamwork. This helped me later in an actual project. And most importantly, without which all of the above would not have made sense, the course helped me find a job quickly. The part of the course dedicated to preparing for the interview deserves special attention. Only later did I realize how useful it was. The video with questions and answers turned out to be highly relevant. When it came to theory at the interview, I was asked all the questions in those videos. I was well prepared, and thanks to that, I impressed the interviewers. So, I am very grateful to the organizers, teachers, mentors, and support staff. They help me effectively in the learning process, and even now, even after more than a year has passed since I completed the course, they are quick to respond to questions about the course materials, and they still help and support me. I definitely recommend it!

I completed the course around mid-July 2023, and in September of the same year, I started working in an IT company as a Full Stack Developer. Hello everyone! I want to share my comments on the quality of GoIT courses and whether the course materials meet the requirements of the market. Or, more simply, whether the knowledge and skills acquired at GoIT courses are sufficient for further employment... Read More in the newly acquired specialty. After all, this is what everyone trying to break into the magical world of IT is interested in. I studied at the Full Stack Developer course from December 2022 to the end of October 2023. Despite the homework I did on my own and the positive results of participating in team projects, I felt pretty insecure about my competitiveness in the "live" market. But this is primarily a question of my self-esteem in this regard. For some reason, I thought it would be like in the movie The Matrix when the main character Neo had fluent kung fu downloaded into his brain in a few minutes :) In practice, it turned out that what I had learned before without constant practice was quickly forgotten as I learned new information. This is how it works for most people. My uncertainty was exacerbated by the fact that starting in August 2023, I began to look for a job actively - first in the Frontend direction and then, closer to the end of the course, in Full Stack. But in almost 3 months, I have yet to receive a single invitation for an interview with HR, let alone any further steps. The number of rejections I received was about 10-15% of the total number of resumes/reviews I sent. The rest was deeply ignored. This is even though I only sent feedback to those vacancies where I fit the employer's requirements by 90-100%. Well, make an allowance for my age category. It is a lie that the IT industry in Ukraine does not practice age discrimination. It does, and it's very active. Moreover, many people need more time to consider remote work. And I'm not prepared to go to another city for the money offered, rent an apartment there, eat something, and provide for my family, which remains in my hometown - the damn arithmetic doesn't add up in favor of such a decision. It's worth saying that I told all my friends and acquaintances who, theoretically, could have at least a remote relation to IT that I was finishing a great course and was already looking for a job in IT, so I would be very grateful for spreading the word among their friends and acquaintances who, theoretically, could have anything to do with IT, and so on. Such a kind of recursion. Eventually, in early October, a month before I officially graduated, I received an offer from a friend of mine to take on the role of sole Frontend developer in a commercial product his company was developing. It was a part-time contract with no outer space but still a good salary. Implementation - React, Redux Toolkit, a lot of work with REST APIs (own extensive database with backends written by other colleagues). At the end of October, I received an offer from another friend to complete a test task to participate in redesigning his commercial product. There were no REST APIs involved: the emphasis was on the ability to develop and implement a simple game algorithm with the obligatory use of React and Redux. The Team Lead was delighted with the result I delivered. I received an offer of full-time project work with the possibility of continuing cooperation after completing the project. I have to start on November 20. So now I have 2 jobs, which I hope to cope with entirely regarding qualifications and time. To summarize: if you actively study and do your homework independently and consciously, as well as follow the methodological recommendations from GoIT on the approach to learning, you will get pretty competitive baggage of relevant knowledge and skills with which you can start working entirely as a Junior Developer (for money, not for the exchange that some employers currently offer - because some agree to this exchange). Then, it all depends on everyone's efforts to find a job, your luck, and a magical coincidence - just like in any other job search process in any specialty. I wish all the brave souls who are not afraid to independently influence the quality of their lives good luck on this path! And I recommend GoIT as a starting point for this :)

I was studying in a full-stack development course. I want to note that I liked the attitude of our group manager toward us as clients. They were always happy to help us solve the issues we faced. I also liked working on team projects, especially if you are lucky enough to have a great team. Later, after gaining real experience, I realized it was like working in a real development team. I also had the opportunity to move at my own pace. I started my studies after taking a free course in layout, where everything was on float, and there was no mention of grid and flex. The material on the GoIT course turned out to be much better and significantly complemented and deepened my knowledge of layout. Still, since I was already a little familiar with the topic, I completed this module faster, and the manager kindly added me to a team project in the group that had started training earlier. I was able to combine part-time work, studying at GoIT, and learning additional technologies on my own, because I had an understanding of what quality material should look like. Sometimes, I attended online classes, and sometimes, I watched the recordings, but most often, I limited myself to the recordings + textbooks + additional sources on the topic. You can also attend English classes in a speaking club format, which helps improve your English. I found a job a month before graduation after the 3rd interview but in a different stack than the one I studied in the course. Now, my stack partially consists of technologies that I learned on my own because the competition in React is relatively high now. As a result, I would like to note that I recommend GoIT, especially if you have decided on your future profession and are not afraid of obstacles.

I have completed the Fullstack course and am fully satisfied. The materials, classes, and the speed of response from teachers and managers are top-notch (and I know what to compare with). I have experience taking courses in no less well-known top schools... Read More and IT companies, and comparing, I would say that I benefited the most from GoIT. I am currently working on a new specialty, but I expect everything to be challenging and fast. It took me 5 months to find a job, and this is the average period of employment in IT without experience. It won't be easy. You need to be mentally prepared and ready to work and study 24/7. However, those who have a desire and a purpose will find their offer!)

The layout part was easy, but then JavaScript started - my brain refused to accept that I could master this stack. But perseverance and incredible desire took over. At the same time, I was working on a pet project, which finally played in my favor when I got a job. I am delighted with the course, the knowledge base is really extensive. I am incredibly grateful to our mentors, who really put their hearts into us and tried to explain things, sometimes even 10 times)) Is it worth switching to IT? - Only if you really want to, you are interested in the field, not just the salary. There are an incredible number of candidates, and the salaries for the first year or two are not very good. And studying will take up almost all your free time during the year. Are courses necessary? If you decide to go into IT, you definitely need them. Here, you pay for experience, help, structure, materials, and constant motivation. You can study independently but waste your precious time searching for materials and learning logic.

Ps. Repeta's textbooks and lectures are a separate art form 🔥 This is not about easiness. Learning requires a significant amount of time and effort. For me personally, it was not an easy path, but it was worth every effort) The school provided an opportunity to improve my skills through intensive practice and projects, which helped to increase my confidence in my abilities 👌 I received the offer immediately after the React block, even before the final project) So, if you want to start your career in IT, I recommend doing it with GoIT.

I am very grateful to GoIT and all the employees of this company for the knowledge I have gained. Teaching is provided in a very clear and structured format. Immediately after the final project, GoIT announced that their partner company Dexola was looking for employees with our stack and sent a test task to the group. After completing it, 9 other developers, 2 PMs, and I were invited to participate in a web3 dapp development camp. For 2 months, we worked on the project of this camp, which was divided into 2 stages: semantic layout with landing page animations and the web3 dapp itself. Then, there were 2 rounds of interviews: one about soft and one about tech skills. After that, 5 participants were shortlisted for the final interview with the CTO. As a result, I and another developer received an offer. But in the end, I will say the following: ultimately, it all depends on you. GoIT provides fundamental knowledge, but everyone has to supplement and improve it on their own. You shouldn't hope that what the courses give you enough staff.
