Plan to do a career switch and came across this course which includes govt subsidies. I decided to give it a try. Learned a fair bit on Python programming skill and there are assignments to test our knowledge after each class. There are Telegram group... Read More chats where you can get updates on your class or discuss assignment questions. For students who are need more guidance, there will also be additional help provided. The course is rather intensive, you will need to do additional research in order to attempt the assignment questions. The assignments are realistic and applicable in work. Overall I enjoy the course and am looking forward to DS102 to gain more knowledge.

Pros: Teacher is extremely clear on his course and leaves no doubt when I am learning throughout the course. Read More Danielle Teo, was very patient and clear during the lessons and being able to review the recorded lessons was very helpful. The course structure is very good and it really did take me from zero to being able to get visualisations (such as bar charts and even plots of specific points on a map of Singapore) done. This is a course I would recommend - it is important to attend the lessons, review the lessons and do the assignments!

For DS101, my instructor Danielle was able to explain concepts in fun and interesting ways to keep the lessons engaging. Much better experience than other programming courses I had beforehand. Only downside is maybe the projects given are not challenging... Read More enough for deeper application.

I only took this course because my cousin had previously said that it was good, but personally I had my doubts about. I still decided to go for it and thankfully I did. I went from being a total beginner about Python and basic Data Analytics to being able to put together my own lines of code to parse through thousands of lines of data. I would recommend this course to people, especially if you are eligible for the subsidies.
