I have attended another coding course prior to the one offered in Heicoders and here is my honest and unbiased review. As I have attended a course offered by a different provider before, I believe that I am able to judge this coding programme more effectively... Read More and more able to pick out what was good and bad about it.

The curriculum offered by Heicoders was better than the other course that I attended. The materials used were very clear, the instructors went in-depth with everything they introduced and most importantly, they related the materials and what we were doing to how it is being used in the real world. For me, this was the differentiating factor that made this course stand out. The purpose of me joining the course was not only to learn programming but also a platform to get to know the industry and find out what I was getting myself into lol. In this aspect, I felt the team performed very well. Plus, learning to code in general gets slightly boring as there isn't really a big tangible result that you can see at this early stage which I feel the team's connecting what we are learning to real world examples to be a big motivation pass this.

The team teaches very well and is very friendly. There isn't much of a teacher-student atmosphere and instead more of a professional guiding, introducing and showing the ropes to someone who is interested in the industry. I felt that this aided my learning as it was a very comfortable atmosphere to learn in and I could reach out for help any time. Their responses are speedy and they make sure they I am able to grasp the idea behind the methods and usage of certain functions in depth before moving on.

If I had to point out any negative areas, it would be their platform. This is because the previous course I attended had a nice customised website to themselves and had been in the industry longer than Heicoders. Personally, I find that this is a small issue as I am still able to find my materials and submit my work for feedback easily.

Introduction to Python would have been a lot tougher without this course. Heicoders' have helped with my fundamentals in python, not only do they explain the syntax, they go further by clearly explaining the reason behind the syntax with alternate examples....
