She creates a corporate type team environment in the class which gets you back in the habit of working as a team. You also have to spend a considerable amount of time outside of the class, if you really want to benefit from the course.
Also, Data structure and algorithms was the part of the course which really helped us to face the real interviews
Kal is a great teacher and she is very approachable and responsive to student queries. The best part of doing a course from Kal Academy is the level of outside support she offers in terms of helping to find a job (via internship opportunities, mock interviews etc). She sends out information about upcoming opportunities, networking and hiring events regularly and stays in touch with her cohort even well after they have finished the course.
I highly recommend Kal academy to everyone who is looking for career change, job change and return to industry after a break.

Kal is a dedicated teacher who cares greatly about her students. She spends time making sure that we understand the concepts before moving on. Read More have attended other coding schools, and I've never met a trainer/educator who so deeply understands exactly what you need to know to be successful at getting and retaining a technical job and is able to so clearly and concisely pass on that knowledge. The amount of learning and hands-on experience you get in any of Kal's courses or bootcamps really surpasses by far what I've seen in scope and depth from other training resources. This is so very completely different from coding schools that are about making a profit: there is absolutely no doubt that Kal Academy is about making individuals - especially individuals from diverse backgrounds - successful in technical careers.

Both the courses were well structured and designed to gain practical experience rather than just theoretical knowledge. Deep Stack Software engineering boot camp covers some of the hot frameworks and technologies any company wants you to have. Kal also helped in having mock interviews with Amazon, Microsoft, Oracle, and other companies. so it gave a lot of motivation to keep practicing for interviews and improve on any mistakes.
