Course Description:

This course offers a structured and hands-on approach that will help you learn basic Android concepts. Guided by experienced professionals, you will work on developing simple Android apps and also at least one of your own choosing.

Topics covered: Android Studio, SDK Manager, Android Manifest, activities, controls, layouts, adaptors, data storage – SharedPreferences, using resources, services, BroadcastReceiver, data storage – intro to SQLite, multithreading, notifications, network communication, using external APIs, alarms, location services, gestures, integrating and using SDKs, publishing in Google Play.

Automated Testing for Mobile

Course Description:

This workshop provides practical exercises of writing automated tests with the Appium and Calabash frameworks for iOS and Android apps.

In addition, it offers an overview about continuous integration, test results reporting and choosing between different testing tools.

Building Mobile applications with web technologies (Ionic + Angular 2)

Course Description:

During this course you will learn how to migrate your code to ES6/TypeScript, use Webpack as a module bundler for your applications and on top of that, use Angular2 + Ionic2 to create and deploy mobile applications on both iOS and Android.

The mobile application that we are going to build will be able to authenticate users, fetch data from the server and store it on the device and also use device capabilites like camera, contacts and other OS features.
