Nucamp bookends its vocational offerings with two 4-week bootcamps: Web Fundamentals for those needing an introduction to HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap; and Job Hunting Bootcamp with more in-depth preparation for interviewing and portfolio prep above the career services we offer to graduates of our vocational bootcamps.
Nucamp is on a mission to make quality education accessible and affordable to everyone. Nucamp’s online curriculum offers the structure of daily, self-scheduled lessons, quizzes, and challenges, with mentoring and peer support available in our Discord channels, plus 1 day/week a real-time, collaborative workshop of an average of 15 students per class, led by their instructor.
Student Support: Office hours with your instructor are available at least weekly or by appointment. Students are encouraged to attend and ask questions related to lessons, exercises, and projects. Students also have access to a class forum, a dedicated class chat channel and cohort chat channel, and are encouraged to use these channels to help others and seek help from classmates and mentors. Additionally, students can access online resources at any time for additional support.
Students are held accountable to the bootcamp’s timeline with a summary assignment due weekly. Students also have the opportunity to build a portfolio project which will be a key asset to their future job search.
Nucamp offers career services and 1:1 career coaching to graduates of our vocational bootcamps. These graduates have lifetime access to their online lessons, including updates, and exclusive access to a nationwide job board tailored to Nucamp graduates in the US.
Eligible students 18-years and older can join Nucamp’s learning community by enrolling in a bootcamp using Nucamp's online registration form.

Web Development Fundamentals
"A Comprehensive and Affordable Investment"
The foundations of most web development are "coding languages," HTML, CSS, and Java Script. This 4-week couse teaches the former two, some Java, and it offers more: Bootstrap and some NodeJS. In 4-weeks you will deploy a website, coded by you and have... Read More
Even if you're not seeking to get hired by a major tech company, you can certainly be more confident in tackling computer issues on other sites and in your personal life. These skills can lead you to be an entrepreneur on sales sites, like Amazon, Shopify, and the like because you get the foundational aspects of what it takes to code and how to maneuver in and out of a web platform. Knowedge, is certainly power.
However, if you choose to be a solopreneur or an employee, you will get the fundamentals that can take you to additional more intermediate and advanced courses.
I chose Nucamp because of the introductory Web Fundamentals that most adults should know how to do. From here one can choose additional coding and specialties: Front stack with mobile, Full stack with mobile, Cybersecurity, and Backend applications.
But, if you decide it's not for you, then it was only a one-month investment that's worth your time and money.
In the long run you will need a modern and comprehensive set of tutorials with the latest software, a dedicated set of instructors that will help you, a large community of developers, career services, and students that also guide and help your progress, including other members of your cohort. All this for an affordable price.
Equivalent courses cost upwards of $18,000, but why pay more when you can have the same instruction but for a fraction of the cost?
