Cursurile celor de la SDA le recomand cu mare încredere persoanelor dornice să facă o reconversie profesională, celor pasionați de programare care încă nu au apucat să exploreze această “lume”, dar și celor care lucrează de puțin timp în IT însă au nevoie... Read More de un upgrade. Ca să împartasesc puțin din experiența mea, eu am reușit sa finalizez cursul de Python, curs care a durat 8 luni. Am primit diploma eliberată de către Ministerul Muncii și Ministerul Educației, diplomă care pe mine personal m-a ajutat neavând licența dată. Mentorii explică extrem de bine și cu cât ești mai activ la curs și pui întrebări, cu atât îți vor fi clarificate nedumeririle. Important e să intrebi și să participi în mod activ! Este extrem de mult de învățat, este greu, necesită multă implicare, focus si răbdare, iar cel mai important, este necesar ca cel puțin 2 ore pe zi să aloci timp studiatului, separat de ce se face împreună cu mentorul! Altfel totul devine extrem de dificil de înțeles. Deci nu se întâmpla minuni peste noapte, ci efectiv se muncește mult pentru a-ti antrena mintea să gândească programatic, dar și pentru a-ti dezvolta logica prin mult studiu și multe exerciții totodata. Lucrez deja de doi ani ca programator și am reușit ca începând de la un nivel de ZERO cunostinte, să am o traiectorie ascendentă din punct de vedere profesional, traiectorie de care sunt extrem de mulțumită. Am început inițial un curs cu o alta academie - cu Codecool, iar ulterior am continuat cu SDA. Ambele experiențe au fost extrem de utile dezvoltării mele, însă SDA are un mare plus datorită modului de predare și a mentorilor care îți explica clar (aproape mura în gură) noțiuni noi la tot pasul, plus ca lucrează împreună cu studenții la exerciții. Deci recomand cu încredere 😊! Iar ca o încheiere, fiind un curs lung care aduce fel si fel de frustrări pe alocuri, recomand ca orice problemă întâmpinați, să fiți deschiși cu cei de la SDA si sa le cereti ajutorul. Eu personal ori de câte ori am apelat la ei, mereu am primit lămuriri și mi-au fost luate în considerare feedback-urile.

Trainers are patient and are interested in teaching you the module they teach. I decided that I wanted to do a professional reconversion and learn programming, so I took 3-4 months to understand what it was all about. Forums, youtube, blogs, friends (from the field), I took everything that could become a source of information for... Read More me. So I identified my programming language, I checked my technical side, I set a time to study in parallel with a course and I set my Goal, a medium-term plan (approx. 1 year), feasible. I knew I was starting from scratch and it was necessary to familiarize myself with the field. A field that requires a certain language, and where a specific thought is required. In the end, I chose the "Java from scratch" course. Course offered by Software Development Academy. I had the possibility to pay in installments, fact that gave me the chance to continue my plan. Even though the main language was Java, we were easily passed (the group) through Front-End languages as well as testing to familiarize ourselves with the terms and to understand the principles of operation. What helped us in transposing real-life scenarios into small projects and in identifying and solving some problems (as the case may be). The trainers did ok. The course schedule was respected. If a specific problem involving the coordinator arose in the group, this problem was solved. The main reason for choosing a course of this kind was to have a live interaction with the trainer, participating in the discussions during the classes and asking questions every time I had doubts, it made me understand better and I was even more motivated. Another aspect - was guiding the first steps in the field. But last but not least, a broader vision. The rest is up to you.

Read More final project, a project that consisted of creating a portfolio that later helped me apply for a job in the field of UX/UI design. Professional reconversion is not an unfamiliar concept to me, being thus familiar with the challenges that followed. I also had basic knowledge in the field of graphic design, which helped me better understand and consolidate the concepts found in the UX/UI design course. I believe that self-didacticism is very important. The course is well structured from the theoretical point of view, but it's up to everyone how much they want to apply or find out more details about each chapter that the course tries to cover and about Figma.
