Pros, learning a new skill to help me advance in my carreer. This program has supportive mentors who do try to stay in contact and guide youbthrough. Also I had people in class that tried to help support each other.

Cons, the time difference is challenging... Read More and sometimes because I have multiple jobs, replies from messages aren't right then and there when I need them. It takes time for a reply (atleast 24hrs). It cuts into project time when I have my job and alloted time for schoolwork. When technical problems happen, it takes time to be resolved (more than a day) and that cuts into project deadlines and work time.

The way the class is taught, along with quizzes and projects, is based on sound teaching research and represents best practices. Each student is assigned a program mentor to work with. Mine’s name is Kanchan, and when my rare disability flared midterm and I wanted to drop out, she encouraged me to stay on. I am really glad she did because having something to focus on helped me get through the rough part of my disability and I was successful with the project that I thought I might fail. I was given all the support I needed even though I need extra support briefly.
