Cons, the time difference is challenging... Read More and sometimes because I have multiple jobs, replies from messages aren't right then and there when I need them. It takes time for a reply (atleast 24hrs). It cuts into project time when I have my job and alloted time for schoolwork. When technical problems happen, it takes time to be resolved (more than a day) and that cuts into project deadlines and work time.

I am most of the way through the class and, as a teacher, I can say that the class is designed to help all participants be successful. The way the class is taught, along with quizzes and projects, is based on sound teaching research and represents best practices. Each student is assigned a program mentor to work with. Mine’s name is Kanchan, and when my rare disability flared midterm and I wanted to drop out, she encouraged me to stay on. I am really glad she did because having something to focus on helped me get through the rough part of my disability and I was successful with the project that I thought I might fail. I was given all the support I needed even though I need extra support briefly. I highly recommend the Data Science and Business Analytics course offered by the University of Texas McCombs Business School in conjunction with Great Learning.

After my meeting with him, I discovered that I could actually connect my learning with producing meaningful content in my projects and I soon found out that all my doubt went away. My learning increased and I was fully engaged in the process. The videos were valuable and the in person mentored sessions were very helpful in gathering a better understanding of the material.
Con’s: Not many! I would say that I wish there were more time to absorb the content and really dive into each topic. Having a busy schedule and personal challenges made it difficult to do this.
