Studying at Turing College has been so far a very nice experience. The course is self-paced, which is great for those working too but allows each student to learn at his rhythm. There are theoretical materials that help to get the concept of each module... Read More (and that continue being reviewed and updated), but what I enjoy the most, and think it's very helpful to learn, is that each sprint of each module ends with a project design. During the project development, the student has the chance to notice things that were not understood and to get practical skills. During the week there are various Zoom sessions to participate and ask questions, or ask for help. At the end of each sprint, each project is reviewed by a peer and a senior professional. This last part has been really helpful because I get to talk to a professional and he gets to correct my project. Although the studies are online, I feel a great sense of community, and there are a lot of people, including other students ahead on the course to help. Turing also has scholarship awards, which is a huge plus. However, we have deadlines for each sprint, and a few hours per week are needed to be able to cover the deadlines.
