Course Description: University of Hartford offers a 20-week, online Web Development Certificate bootcamp. Classes meet three evenings per week from 6:30 to 9:30 pm EST and are taught by industry instructors who work as web developers and engineering managers.
University of Hartford Web Development Certificate bootcamp students will learn JavaScript, RESTful APIs, test-driven development, MVC architecture, Amazon Alexa, DevOps, and AWS. Students will build a portfolio of projects, including a live web application. Bootcamp students will work in small teams led by a designated project mentor to complete an industry project by working as student consultants with a real world company.
University of Hartford Web Development Certificate bootcamp students will have 1:1 career coaching for 12 weeks following bootcamp completion. Students will receive help building and growing their professional network, resume, cover letter, and LinkedIn profile reviews, and access to career workshops and seminars.
University of Hartford Web Development Certificate bootcamp students may participate in an Income Share Agreement to make tuition payments after landing a job, pay tuition in installments or upfront at a discounted rate, or finance tuition with a student loan. Web Development Certificate bootcamp students will receive a University of Hartford Web Development certificate upon completion.
