Our staff member Gilles and Yavuz created a remote training with th same spirit that was within the wall of the School. You learn how to find thé informations because everything is moving fast so you need constant adaptation of your job. We became Wilder with a community helping you finding a job or a training période, or increasing your knowledge on technical skills. That was more difficult because we were un remote but we got tje help we needed. To change your profesionnal life, go with wild code School. I took the opportunity to continue another training highly asked in compagnies, one of the last technology of the web. In Wild code school you Will learn the last and up to date training taht compagnies are looking for and you wil have the chance to be " hunted " by hr service because of the quality of your professionnal career change.

I joined the september 2020 session of the wild code school in Nantes, I've been there for a month now and I am really satisfied of the pedagogy, the projects are really interesting and enriching and the staff has great mindset nothing at better to move... Read More forward.

When you're first entering Wild Code School, you won't only join a School, but you will belong to a huge community (Wilders).
Wilders are former and current students / teachers / staff, and always are happy to help / share their feedback.
Bootcamp format... Read More is known as something intense, and to be honest, it is. You have to give from your personal time, and be devoted.
But WCS(Wild Code School) staff is so generous, benevolent, and kind, that every lesson looks like a game, something fun.
As a part of Dev Web course, i can't find any drawback to our beloved Teacher, who always take his time to make sure everyone got the point.
We (dev web students) belong to a particular state at the moment, because of Covid, and we started a "remote" session.

My main fear, regarding current Covid, is not to find an internship after our course.

TLDR : WCS is a great school, where you can learn, develop, and upgrade your (in)existant skills. Don't worry even if you have 0 knowledge, teachers (and WCS) will always adapt to your "skill" level, and make sure to give you the chance to become a real working Developer

Read More it was managed from Gilles and Yavuz (staff members of the school) was almost perfect : several computers has been rented for people who hasn't a proper computer to work at home, and moreover the overall season was done entirely with courses, exercices, hackathon and projects.

The best thing which happened to me was that I have found a job even before the season was finished. I hadn't any holidays, but whatever, I have now a fresh new job. That's pretty awesome.

il y a une différence entre apprendre à coder et devenir développeur. Dans le premier cas, on apprend les langages de programmation et on apprend à créer des applications web, à la fin, on sait coder. Dans le second cas, on apprend aussi à coder, mais... Read More on apprend aussi tout ce qu'il y a à coté, les principes de design, de travail collaboratif, apprendre à se débrouiller un peu seul face à l’inconnu, la gestion de projet, le travail en équipe, et encore les différentes structure de programmation (voire algorithmie ) Ben, à la wild, ils ne t'apprennent que très peu le code (on n'est pas en mode débrouille toi, mais on est assez autonome) par contre pour tout ce qui est intégration dans un équipe, gestion de projet, git, les framework. Bon, c'est intense (très) mais normalement, ça se passe bien quand on arrive en entreprise (selon témoignages)

Hi, My Name is Ismaël im 29 years old.

I am currently following a FullStack Course at Wild Code School Lyon. I started the journey in May 2020.
My training will end at December 2020. We couldnt meet each other, with both my fellows partners in training... Read More and Teacher/Coach due to
Coronavirus. So we had to start the course at home until August. During that period we had a great support offered by the school, and Trainer. We met many times respecting the coronavirus restrictions. So it was less difficult for us to follow the program. The tools provided by the school are great, there is a lot of Quests, tutorials and other teachers/Manager you are free to ask anytime, you often get a Masterclass offered by external Trainers/Developers/Manager/Hiring Companies & other during your training. It happens once a week, generally but giving one of two weeks will be good too. The new infrastructure here in Lyon, is quite good. For me it is perfect for both work and learn.

If i had two advices to give to other people that wants to follow my path it would be :

Choose a school that can give you, the support and the tools you need.
That's very important in my opinion. I mean if the school is giving you a comfortable infrastructure thats means the school wants to last for a
long amount of time, and be part of the local "eco-system". They added about 300m² of workspace in Lyon for me its a big plus.

The second advice, is too look what the school can give you in amount of time, are they being realistic ? And what comes after you end the course.
For the Wild Code School, you will be a wilder for you life. You will have forever access to quest and Slack & intranet. The intranet is called Odyssey, if you choose to follow for example a course in React Javascript and NodeJs Mysql, after your course, you are free to look at other course like Php, Java, Angular, even Data science. All course last about 5 months, for me it is the strict minimum, even in five months you wont master all the programming languages but at least you ll have a very good understanding and be able to apply as Junior/Internship Developer position.
When i was looking for a school i didnt chosed this one, because of the length. But it was a great mistake. And today i am very proud saying that if i had choose another school with a smaller length it would had been a great mistake i would had ever made.

I loved my training at the Wild code school! We were confined after two weeks. The school had anticipated everything and we were able to continue the training without any problem.
The training lasts five months. it's intensive but the program is balanced... Read More throughout.
We have them 3 projects and the last one was with a real client. It's a very good experience
The supervisors are available and always listening.
