Read More career of my own and become my own boss. I’ve been fascinated with IT for a long time now but there’s no push in me to pursue it, until I saw a video ad on Youtube about Yellow Tail Tech. I’ve searched about them on google and looked up their website. Long story short I did enroll in the program but there were some family issues and emergencies that I have to resolve so I stopped. After a year, I was very surprised because most of my classmates who finished the program are already working in a tech company. I realized that Yellow Tail Tech works and that it's not just a bunch of inspirational stories. It's a proven way to make money and get ahead. But after taking some time off, I enrolled again because I know how Yellow Tail Tech works, and I want to be part of this success story! I’m now in the final stages of the program where they’re helping me prepare my resume, optimize my LinkedIn Profile, etc. It’s amazing how hands on they are just to help me out. I love it!

My fellow students are very diverse and the instructors will really put in effort to help you out. I’m currently in the Cert prep but I can definitely say that I am confident to take the exam and I wouldn't be here if not for the Yellow Tail Team.

After that I just followed their process and enrolled. The thing I like most about Yellow Tail Tech is that they will really guide you in every step of the way. The program structure is also very suited for people with no IT background so learning the modules was easy but it takes practice to really understand and put the concepts to heart. Today, I am working with not only a high-paying job but also in a company where my needs are met and all of us are growing. It’s my beginning, I told myself that from here onwards I will focus myself into learning and honing my skills in IT. It helps that the environment inside Yellow Tail Tech is really great. The structure and the way the lessons were handed down to us was so good. We started with the basics because the majority of us don’t have an IT background. It was amazing because the teacher’s were also like us, before teaching to Yellow Tail Tech and learning Linux they also did not have any IT background some of our instructors graduated from Yellow Tail Tech so it really helped us become more confident. Most of them have their daytime jobs where they work from home and teach at night and I want that for me too. Now that I'm working from home as a Linux System Administrator, life is amazing! I said I wanna teach at night as well but for now I wanted to enjoy my freedom of working remotely anywhere around the globe. It’s the best! Yellow Tail Tech, rocks!

The instructors at Yellow Tail Tech are very hands-on in teaching us, but we also have to put in the work. It gets tedious at times, with me working full time, and trying to find time to study and practice, which really, it's not a lot of studying because... Read More they make it so simple. All you have to do is just read the material and practice it, and that's it. But again you have to put in the work. The more that they teach me, the more willing I am to learn. I got to hold myself back from just going out and buying new stuff, and trying new stuff because I'm learning all these other things. But I just got to take it slow, get one thing down, and then see where I want to venture from there.

It's not easy to balance my work with my family and personal life. Because of that, I'm stuck in life, feeling like I don't have enough time for myself. The community of students is also amazing; we really feel like a family when we are there together learning together. The best part about learning at Yellow Tail Tech is that they understand how busy you can get as a working professional. That’s why when there are times that I cannot get into classes because of my work, I make sure to attend the review sessions every weekend. I couldn’t ask for a better program. One day I saw an ad for Yellow Tail Tech, and I was curious about what their courses are all about so I went there to check it out. I thought to myself this might be a scam so I looked it up in the course report and career karma but they seem legit so I just had a random idea to talk to an Enrollment Advisor. Fast-forward to my talk with the Enrollment Advisor I found myself enrolling in the Linux for Jobs program. It started with a kickoff where all the students were welcomed by Jubee - to be honest it was quite intimidating especially not having an IT background but when the classes started the instructors were very good at explaining everything. The best thing about Yellow Tail Tech is that they put their students through more hands-on training than other companies do, they teach you exactly what you need to know in order to pass the certification exam. It was amazing because I just took the exam once and passed. It made me proud of myself. Now I am preparing for my job interviews and they’ve really helped me optimize my LinkedIn account, and assisted me in making my resume. Yesterday I had mock interviews and it was amazing.
