With COVID-19 upending a lot of careers, App Academy is excited to offer Facebook’s largest ever coding bootcamp scholarship donation to the next generation of coders.
Deposit Assistance Program | Awards VaryThe Deposit Assistance Program (DAP) allows App Academy's Full-Time course to be more accessible to people from communities historically underrepresented in tech. This can range from race/ethnicity, veteran status, disability, gender, LGBTQ, socio-economic background, age, etc. App Academy will award deposit assistance for up to 5 students per cohort and recipients will be awarded and notified four weeks prior to the start date of the cohort if accepted. Skillbridge | Full ScholarshipSailors and soldiers on active duty who are transitioning out of active military service may be eligible for the Department of Defense (DoD) SkillBridge program (which is also referred to as Career Skills in the Army). We are providing a full tuition scholarship for students who attend through SkillBridge with approval from their unit commander.
Milspouse Coders Scholarship | Full ScholarshipMilSpouse Coders is dedicated to empowering military spouses around the globe to find challenging and fulfilling careers in technology. They are providing scholarships for military spouses attending either the in-person program for up to $12,500 tuition or the remote program for the full $15,500 tuition. One scholarship is available per program, per cohort.
NMFA In-Person Partial Scholarship | Up to $12,500This scholarship is awarded to those registered with the National Military Family Association (NMFA) who will attend the in-person program at our campus located in Chicago. Like our CP Veteran and Spouse Scholarship, both veterans and military spouses are eligible. Recipients of this scholarship are awarded up to $12,500 thanks to NMFA.
NMFA Remote Full Scholarship | Full ScholarshipThis scholarship is awarded to those registered with National Military Family Association (NMFA) who will attend the remote program at a different location from our Chicago campus. Like our Remote Attendance Scholarship, both veterans and military spouses are eligible. Recipients of this scholarship are awarded the full $15,500 tuition thanks to NMFA.

Flatiron School Access Scholarships | $0 UpfrontThe Access Scholarship opens doors for aspiring innovators who may have experienced barriers to education. Access Scholarships will invest over $1.5 million in the futures of more than 500 students across all disciplines. The Access Scholarship is a partial scholarship of $1,000. Women Take Tech Scholarship | Various AwardsTo date, Flatiron School has awarded over $1 million in scholarships to make a life-changing tech education more accessible to aspiring female programmers across their many disciplines. The Women Take Tech Scholarship is designed for new enrollees in Flatiron School programs globally. Brian T. Forsythe Social Equity Award | Up to $1,000 ScholarshipWe offer The Brian T. Forsythe Social Equity Award to help diversify the tech industry. Our scholarship awards up to $1,000 to women, African American, Latinx, and Native American students who qualify. Members of the LGBTQ+ community and U.S. Veterans are also eligible. We also offer this award to those whose income in the preceding year did not exceed 150 percent of the poverty level amount.

Women Interested in Tech | Scholarships VaryWyncode Academy has a $1.4 million scholarship commitment to promote increased female involvement in technology. Future Leaders in Tech | Full Tuition ScholarshipWyncode is excited to announce with the Knight Foundation the Future Leaders of Tech scholarship. One Future Leader of Tech scholar is selected by a Wyncode hiring partner for each cohort. The selection includes a full Wyncode scholarship followed by a three month paid internship at the local hiring partner. Wyncode focuses on applicants who:
- Come from traditionally underrepresented groups in technology, with an emphasis on women and people of color
- Do not have a 4-year college degree
- Have an average salary under $50,000 if providing for a family or $30,000 if single.
- Are legally authorized to work in the United States.
