I recently graduated from lambda school as a full stack web developer and I have been through every single classes in bootcamps and did all the works. So, I think I can accurately speak about the strength and weakness of the program.

Mostly because, I have always been sceptical about the success rate of the online bootcamp and the effectiveness of the course. But, when I did join them after they started, it changed my way of viewing the online bootcamps. I was really impressed with the course content and way they taught the course.
I am not that new to programming, but I had not been introduced to Javascript formally. In the course, I could learn basic concepts of js, and learn more advanced concepts such as Inheritance, containership, DOMs and best practices of object oriented programming. The experience also taught me to write the clean and efficient code in javascript. Working with mean stack helped me realize how powerful it was and later get couple of interviews as a web developer.
The main strength of the lambda school is faculty. All the teachers were brilliant at teaching and had experience working in the industry for quite some time. And, they had very good sense of understanding and working with students.
However, I did not like all the work involved and arrangement of course over time. I wished that it was longer and hours were easier. And, I wanted more guidance through the job process.

In my experience Lambda School is a good coding bootcamp that anyone who is serious about making career in technology field should go to.
Whether you are a beginner or a IT pro, programming is really important to shape your career.

As someone who has worked in IT industry for a long time, my experience at lambda school really helped me to make a change in my perspective. It helped me to learn the inner workings of the tools I have been using for a long time. Even though, I was looking to make a career change the mini- bootcamp was worth it.

I recently graduated from Lambda School and I am decently satisfied with the experience. Unlike other students, I did a lot of extensive research before choosing any boot camps. I went through a lot of reviews from a different source and I tried sample... Read More courses from a bunch of them. Of which, lambda school was one. Before going into a full course, I did a little sample course with the program and liked it a lot. So, I went on with the program.

I was not wrong, it was a great program with excellent teachers and time. But, I did not enjoy as much I thought it would. Here are my reasons for that, both positive and negative.

Pros:
1. They have an efficient and updated curriculum. They have an awesome collection of courses for multiple platforms with ReactJS and ReactNative.
2. The teaching method is also top notch. Their approach of going from simple to advanced concepts of programming is simply stunning and effective. Also, the teachers are really helpful and co-operative. They were always willing to answer anything you put in front of them. Since most of them are already masters in the industry, you can get a lot of knowledge about tech community and industry.
Cons:
Don't get me wrong, I had a brilliant experience attending lambda school. But, I did not like the group discussion and insane hours. I had never attended coding boot camp so the experience was just overwhelming for me. I just wished the hours were bit easy and wanted a group (students) to be more co-operative.

Conclusion: Lambda School is one of the greatest coding programs out there but your experience is going to be subjective. It is entirely dependent upon you. If you have not been to coding boot camps before, buckle up! It will be a bumpy ride for you. So, you might prefer part time, but if you go through it like I did - it is going to make up for your time.
