By the way, shoutout to Sam who was initially my point of contact when I was applying. He laid out the details about the course very honestly and thoroughly, and even checked on me from time to time after the course started. Anyways, I got through the first month and everything looked great so I committed to the whole thing. The cohort was welcoming and the community they fostered encouraged me to learn. There would be alumni coming in to classes as guests and sharing their experiences with us, which always motivated me to push. My coach Tarik was especially supportive, he guided me through job searching and interviews. He was a big factor when I later started doing well in the interviews. We built real friendships both with fellow students and mentors, which I hope to carry into the future.

The instructors and fellow students at neotech were incredibly supportive and understanding of our experiences, and their knowledge was impressive too.
