When I joined this program, I had been wanting to take up another challenge that would cause me to do different kind of learning, very unlike what I was used to. Read More science and business analytics pushed me to review material and content I had either forgotten (stats, calculus) and learn things I never thought I'd be doing/applying (Python), and learning about (ML/AI). The structure of the entire course is clear, consistent, and rigorous, and while predictable, it's necessary to review the content and complete the homework during the week. Thus, it's necessary to time manage, break the material and deadlines over the course of the week (usually), and be resourceful when problem solving. It's also necessary to be ready to submit assignments on a Friday night, ready to go through the assignment on a Saturday morning (at least in my time zone). Yet, with all these challenges, it was good to know I was able to meet the challenge, gain a completely new skill set, and comfortably apply it in my current teaching and future research goals.
