Avocademy

Our program is designed to help students gather additional real-world experience so they can connect with more job opportunities. This program supports students during their interview process and helps them start their UX/UI careers sooner.

Students gain access to real clients where they work on short-term projects from startups, non-profits, and small businesses to build out their portfolios and gain teamwork experience.

Students in the program also receive career guidance, including a tailored job search strategy, interview prep, portfolio feedback, salary negotiation strategies, and even direct job referrals. This structured support builds upon Avocademy graduates’ UX/UI knowledge and sets them up for long-term success.

The Career Jumpstart program is backed by a Job Guarantee. If you follow all program requirements and do not land a job offer by your graduation date you will not be responsible for paying or will receive a full refund.

The UX/UI Foundations lessons consist of video and reading material. After learning key concepts and best practices, students test their knowledge by completing activities rooted in real-world UX/UI deliverables.

Throughout the 8 - 16 week course, students complete an entire UX/UI project from research to high-fidelity prototyping and testing. Students receive unlimited one-on-one mentorship each week to gather feedback on their project work and to ensure they have a strong understanding of the course material. Upon completion, students have a built out portfolio with a complete case study and earn a certification. If they complete the course before 16 weeks they will receive $500 back.
