One thing to add, is that they are supportive and flexible when life hits you hard. They will provide more time to finish the course and I had several sessions with my coach to go through that hard times.

One of the biggest criticisms I see for BootCamp programs is that you can learn all the same stuff free of charge, and that's entirely true. But the structure, resources, mentoring, coaching, and access to mentors during regular hours to help work through anything you're stuck on ALL make this program more than worth it. I'd sign up again in a heartbeat.

I signed up for this program on a whim because I was tired of waiting for my child support to kick in and I needed to quickly change careers so I could double my income as a single mom. I went in scared and felt like this was my last hope. I was thinking... Read More that it would be boring and very difficult. But I was determined to finish. So I kept at it, and found it actually to be fascinating, challenging and fun to learn Python, R and statistics. I felt like everything went by really fast, but at the same time it was 8 months of work. I really enjoyed the video tutorials, hands on activities, project work, and the mentor support was amazing. I felt very supported the entire time. I am a single mom working full time with three kids. I am also in my mid 40s. If I can do it, anyone can. It was challenging but definitely something that can be accomplished if you set your mind to it and do the work. I am now getting interviews and will hopefully find my dream job soon!

At first I was hesitant but after talking with my mentor who completed the program and seeing the video by Meredith, I felt confident in pursuing this program. It’s definitely been challenging and the videos been the biggest teacher in helping me understand... Read More the materials. The only issue have been getting one on one time with my mentor being that our schedule sometimes conflict and the course material readings sometimes don’t provide troubleshooting tips for when you encounter coding issues. But overall I couldn’t find a more rewarding and affordable program.
