I entered Study the Blockchain with no prior knowledge of blockchain nor ethereum/solidity. With the course we quickly learned about the blockchain and then loaded all of the necessary files. Being on-line we were able to view how the instructor fixed others computer's.

When the development systems were loaded we were working on sample files. From that first day, we were looking at code and debugging. By the end of the class we had a full sized portfolio of real world projects that worked. In addition, homework problems were assigned and completed, in-class group or pair programing, and lastly our final projects. Through all of this we have built an on-line group where we can share our ideas, frustrations, and seek help. I would strongly recommend this program and the instructor.

You don't feel rushed in the class. One of the things I like most about the class is the instructor did not proceed until every question
was asked and everyone understood the concepts. He broke things down in layman terms. In the class was plenty of real-world examples.

The instructor challenges each student by asking direct questions to make sure everyone in the class understands the material before moving onto the next topic. The instructor also breaks the class up into small group sessions multiple times throughout the class to ensure pair programming and collaboration. From a professional software engineer's perspective, pair programming is such a vital key to learning. The instructor understands the benefits of pair programming and also assists the small groups when needed. The course overall is incredible. If you come into the class with a passion for blockchain and some prior knowledge of JavaScript, you will be writing a similar review upon completion of the course.

The instructor was a very gifted teacher. He made sure everyone understood fully each point that he covered before moving on. He was also very generous with his time. - Most of the classes are 4-5 hours long, which is understandable because of the amount of contents we have to cover. I think for the evening class on Friday, we should restrict to 3 hours of lecture and 1 hour of office hour.
