Before starting I had only done free basic javascript courses online, and my classmates had a wide range of experience. By the end of the class we were all able to create multiple full stack apps. It was so much fun to come to class each day largely due to a great teacher and TAs. I would 100% recommend the bootcamp to anyone hoping to start a career in tech. I'd like to add that throughout the experience they asked for our feedback, and mine was always as positive as this review without prompting or encouragement to be complimentary.

I completed the 11 weeks full stack web development bootcamp at CodeOp, I attended it remotely. I expected the course to feel quite long, but the weeks flew by in no time. The lectures were very useful and mostly fun, there were plenty of daily exercises... Read More and "challenges" to solve to make sure we understood the material, the instructor and teaching assistants were amazing & always there to help if we had questions or got stuck, and we created a sense of community within my cohort. There were a few times were I felt like I didn't understand anything at all, that what I was learning was irrelevant or too complicated.. but honestly it all made sense once we started working on our own projects in the second half of the bootcamp. I am now working in the industry thanks to CodeOp's help with career assistance, so you can be sure "it works". I am grateful to have had this experience, it was exhausting and difficult at times (some light coding knowledge definitely needed so do your pre-course work), but it was also very rewarding and definitely worth the time, money & effort. I would recommend it to others with no doubt.

As a former teacher, I can tell when a curriculum is well thought out and learning processes are built off each other. CodeOp does an amazing job structuring their lessons and the entire program. True to their word, the CodeOp Full-Stack Bootcamp was one of the most challenging experiences in my life. But it was all possible due to a supportive community that included patient instructors and TAs, along with kind, ambitious, like-minded peers.... Read More Expect a demanding and fast-paced curriculum, with new topics (or several) learned within a day. Curriculum structure is excellently planned however, and as long as you're willing to put in the time to review the work and be kind to yourself - all will click into place eventually. Questions are encouraged and support is also provided in terms of Teaching Assistants (TAs), whom were former students themselves. The lecture phase consists of the first half, taking up about 6 weeks, and we waste no time at all getting into project phase which takes up the last 4 weeks (with Career Week as the last week). Project phase includes an MVP, a feature extension on a peer's project (teaching you how to read other's code), and a group project (simulating what it will be like to work with others in the future). I will say however that while CodeOp does it's best to provide job support, its network is in the growing stages (since it is a relatively new organisation) so especially if you are looking for job opportunities beyond Spain - this should be something to keep in mind. Having said that, I thoroughly enjoyed my time at CodeOp and am walking away with a wealth of experience, and a new-found love of coding that will define my career path for the foreseeable future.

I couldn't be happier that I chose CodeOp to start my tech career transition. It was definitely challenging, and at times you need to let go of expecting that everything will make sense. But it's all part of the process - and our wonderful instructor, TAs (who are program alums!), and the whole CodeOp staff were all so patient, kind and supportive through our good days and bad, and genuinely committed to helping us figure out very problem we got stuck on. That community of mentorship, as well as the wonderful community of peer support that we built among my classmates, made the fast-paced learning process feel not only possible, but positive and transformative. The program was well structured and all the teachers were experienced professionals in each specific field. The materials were clear and they gave us a lot of examples and support during our journey, creating a safe space in which we could ask any doubt... Read More and share our own ideas while feeling reassured. All the teachers took time even outside class to help us with our projects, career doubts and everything that we may need and the rest of the staff interacting with us was really nice and approachable too. If you are thinking about signing in at any course with CodeOp, don't hesitate, since not only you will learn a lot but you will also enter a very supportive community.

CodeOp is not just a coding a school. It is a community that truly supports women++ who are transitioning to tech and even those who have already transitioned to tech. As a double bootcamp graduate, having done both the Full Stack Development Course and... Read More Data Science Course with CodeOp, and a teaching assistant, I have to say that this coding school is true to its mission in eradicating the gender gap in tech. As a student, I was fully supported from the very beginning. I do not think that I would have afforded these courses without any financial assistance and the school has a big list of financial support providers to choose from. And, even when I had issues with paying my deposit, I still felt welcome. As a student and teaching assistant, I saw that they are really committed to giving high-quality courses as developments and improvements to the curriculum are never-ending. With each iteration, we discuss how we can make the concepts more accessible and how we can improve student experience. And, I have seen a lot of developments since my first course and this was only last year. As a teaching assistant, I am impressed by the way we make our services personal. We always have our doors open for anyone who needs assistance, whether it is a tech issue or an emotional one. We understand and respect the courage that it takes to make the transition to tech and we are always there to give encouragement, pep talks and advice. This is probably what is missing from online, self-paced courses where the only forms of interaction are videos, forums and simulations — The human touch that makes the transition less scary and more memorable. And, I found that in this community. Hence, now that I have full time job as a junior developer / data scientist at a large tech consulting company, I continue my work with them as a teaching assistant as I am very happy and thankful to be part of this community.

I was recommended the bootcamp from someone very involved in the tech education industry which already created some expectations that, I'm confident to say, were surpassed. The curriculum is extensive and very complete. The instructors are very supportive,... Read More encouraging, resourceful, and updated. Also, the support from teaching assistants is great. The course itself is extremely fun. The distribution of the academic load in both the lecture and project phases felt very adequate and balanced while being challenging enough to prepare us for a future tech role. The career support is also very good and you can feel part of a community from the beginning.

I've attended the PM bootcamp with CodeOp in March-April 2022. The course is very intense, you get a lot of concepts and if you review the classes and keep up with the homework, provides you real added value. I took it while switching from one role to... Read More another, and it really helped me understanding a new approach to work. Teachers are very qualified and you feel a lot of support from everyone in the community, from past students, from the staff, from youwr classmates. I think the best thing about CodeOp, a part from the quality of the teaching, is the sense of community and belonging that you feel from the very first lectures. I wish it was in person, even though the online classes were very involving and intense as well!
