I was a bit worried about learning all the statistics and concepts which was mentioned in the course curriculum but I was very much surprised the way everything is put in a simplified way for everyone to understand. I had many eureka moments in the sessions... Read More when I learnt the concepts like how regression is done and who the accuracy is calculation how the error is measured etc. I am glad that I signed up for this course and will definitely suggest anyone who wants to learn AI and ML to signup for this course. The mentor learning sessions are one of my favorites even though I don’t talk much in the session but I listen attentively and it does help a lot to reinforce what we learnt in the videos and clarify any questions. I would like to give a shout out for all the support tools and forums we have been given in order to get in touch with the team and glad they respond in quick fashion. I am not sure what level of Job search support everyone will get but I am hoping we will have enough support to find job if needed.

I have to admit that I found it rather challenging, and part of that is because I lack any relevant computer science background. I’ve been focused in a very different... Read More field for years now, and the transition process is difficult to understate. However, I think being in the program helped me stay on track so it helped in this time of change at the same time. Regarding the content, the course is very focused on application vs theory. This was discussed prior to starting but I was still surprised, perhaps due to how strange it feels to apply without understanding. Looking back, I would say it requires a decent amount of self-study because it’s not easy to be writing code about data when it feels like you have not even grasped the basics. It is certainly doable though and I’m sure that’s how everyone learns. The lectures given by professors during the week are quite in-depth and do cover many more theoretic concepts, which I appreciate, but they do feel a bit advanced at times, something I would expect for upper-level university class. Of course, I enjoyed it, but it can be a lot to take in, especially the math. Luckily, the weekend mentor sessions were very direct and comprehensible, so they balanced that out nicely. To end this rambling review, I want to say that my favorite part of this program was how accommodating they were. I did not go into it expecting any leniency, but I was able to get extensions on several assignments that I missed the deadline for. I feel really appreciative about that, as I was being given another chance. The program is great with communication, and it’s easy to message or call if you need help.
