Full-Time Code Immersion Program
"One of the best education decisions I've made, intense but well worth the work!"
I jumped into the Tech Talent South Code Immersion program on a whim after a friend mentioned it to me a few days before it started. I had some free time and was already learning web development on my own and through a few classes at the local university,... Read More

"Coding : A New World"
This was a great experience for me. Not only was I surrounded by others who had an equal or greater desire to code, but they were also asking thought-provoking questions and treating this Bootcamp seriously– while still having fun. The first few weeks... Read More

I attended the Startup Primer class in Charlotte NC. When I first signed up, I was not sure what type of expectations I had for takeaways but I knew it sounded like something that was right up my alley. I had previously launched a startup company back... Read More

"Tech Talent South"
On my own blog I say more about my experience with Tech Talent South (www.wesleychambers.com/?p=333). Here I will highlight three things. First, TTS has amazing resources: good instruction, great alumni who are willing to help, an incredible network (especially... Read More
I enjoyed the experience and recommend TTS. I will conclude with this: it was difficult to balance the full-time course in addition to two jobs. I secured a good developer job midway through the course, so in the end it didn't matter. But I strongly suggest that you try to lighten your schedule if you want to take the full-time immersion course. So check out TTS. It was worth it for me and many others, and it will be worth it for you if you come in with the right attitude.

"Great course for adults working full-time!"
I took the part-time course in the beginning of 2017. This was a really great option for full-time working adults. Classes are twice a week from 6-9. This course was a great way to introduce me to the basic overview of front-end and back-end development.... Read More

"Perfect part-time opportunity to get started with understanding front-end web development"
10/10. TTS Intro to web design course is a perfect opportunity for people looking to break into the world of front end development. I work at an early stage technology company and I'm responsible for managing our company's website and yet previous to... Read More
Nonetheless, after completing this course I feel much more comfortable developing my own style sheets and using basic javascript to make tweaks on our website. With what I learned, I also had the ability to develop the entire html file for customized automated emails.
This is a part-time course, class meets for 3 hours once a week for 8 weeks. It's important to go into this class with the expectations that the entire curriculum will serve as a foundation for learning html and css and is by no way an exhaustive experience. TTS offers entire courses in just JavaScript so the 3 hours that are included in this course is enough to make it less scary. All in all, what you get out of this course is directly correlated with how much you're willing to put in. But there are awesome instructors that will stack the odds of success in your favor.
Lastly, the benefits of taking a TTS course extend beyond the course itself. Now considered a TTS Alum, I have access to awesome events that happen throughout Charlotte, a network of talented individuals more than willing to offer advice, and exclusive access to job opportunities. And yes, even though this is a part-time course, the TTS team shares freelance website gigs that you will be qualified to do once completing the course.
Highly recommend!

"Tech Talent South Inspired me ...Atlanta GA"
