LaunchCode believes that everyone should have the opportunity to pursue a career in tech. Their course curriculum, resources and job prep programs are all developed to help students get the skills that employers are looking for - all for free. An exciting 80% of LaunchCode graduates begin their tech career without a degree in computer science, and job placements have allowed students to double their previous salary, on average. Our 12-week training program allows students to learn and apply all of the necessary coding and team skills in order to start a career in full-stack web development. We offer daytime or evening scheduling options for the immersive program. Both options include 48 full-stack development workshops, plus full-day access to mentors and workspace. Students will be expected to form teams of 2-5 people and work an additional 10 to 20 hours per week on a team-selected project in preparation for a demo day presentation to the professional community. Our ideal student to instructor/mentor ratio is 10-1, ensuring all of your questions are answered.

The daytime program includes 5 days per week for 10 weeks of lecture, workshops and hands-on mentoring. The program continues for 2 more weeks of dedicated team project time with full-time mentor availability. Team projects begin after week four.

The evening program includes 2 evenings per week (Tuesday and Thursday) for 25 weeks of lecture, workshops and hands-on mentoring sessions. Each session lasts approximately 2 hours. Students also have access to instructors and mentors during 'open work time'.

iD Coding & Engineering Academy:
For ages 13-18, iD Coding & Engineering Academy is an immersive, teen-only experience. Students choose from intensive courses in machine learning, cryptography, game programming with C++, robotics
engineering, and more. 2-week, overnight sessions.

iD Game Design & Development Academy
For ages 13-18, iD Game Design & Development Academy offers an immersive, teen-only experience. Students take on the role of a 3D modeler, gameplay programmer, or level designer, learn the full cycle

Alexa Café:
An all-girls program for ages 10-15. Alexa Café offers a unique blend of tech, entrepreneurship, and social activism—all set in a stylish setting! Code an app for charity, design a mobile game, engineer wearable electronics, and more. Weeklong camps with day and overnight sessions.

Nucamp is a coding bootcamp that offers part-time, online programs, including Back End, SQL, DevOps with Python (16 weeks); Front End Web & Mobile Development (17 weeks); and Full Stack Web & Mobile Development (22 weeks). Nucamp also offers a 4-week introduction bootcamp that covers the fundamentals... Read More of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Nucamp is on a mission to make quality education accessible and affordable to everyone. The online bootcamps include both self-paced and actively mentored study, and there are no more than 15 students per class with a dedicated instructor for each cohort. Washington University Boot Camps offer 24-week, part-time Data Analytics, Cybersecurity and Coding programs. The cybersecurity curriculum offers hands-on training in networking, systems, web technologies, databases and defensive and offensive cybersecurity.

The full stack curriculum includes HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, Express.js, Node.js, databases, MongoDB, MySQL and Git.

Applicants do not need programming experience to enroll, but once admitted, all students will complete a pre-course tutorial. As the program is part-time, Washington University Boot Camps are designed for working professionals and students who are actively pursuing a career change, advancement or looking to gain a new skill set.

Throughout the 24-week programs, students have access to career-planning services including resume and portfolio reviews, technical interview training, virtual tech panels, 1:1 coaching and more. Those who complete the program will receive a non-credit Certificate of Completion from the Technology & Leadership Center at Washington University McKelvey School of Engineering. Students in the cybersecurity program will learn skills applicable to industry certifications.
