I'm a newly arrived immigrant to the U.S., having been here for six months, and my last class was ten years ago. It was the first time I had been exposed to coding, so I struggled with Python's syntax and errors at the beginning of the course. However,... Read More with the guidance of the Program's experienced industry mentors and MIT professors, I gradually became accustomed to coding. I am much more comfortable coding and fixing errors as the course ends. I can handle complex projects, including electives and capstones, and even participate in hackathon competitions.

Even though I don't rank high among other learners, the hackathons have allowed me to identify my shortcomings. Since then, I have continued to sharpen my algorithms and coding skills. I am incredibly thankful for this Program, and one of the most important points I want to highlight is the excellent support from the program managers. The practical support helped me and other learners overcome many difficulties throughout this journey.

My determination to become a professional developer in the tech industry has only grown stronger through this course. The foundational knowledge I've gained here will be the bedrock on which I'll continue to build my skill set. I am deeply grateful for this Program and consider it a significant milestone in my journey toward becoming a professional developer. Thank the Program and the Program Manager for the invaluable support.

Each of us is assigned a program manager, who will help you throughout the course for any issues you faced during the program. My program manager, Joseph Jose was very helpful, and help me find the best time that suits my schedule. Highly recommend this program for people looking for Data Science experience.

The publishing of results was a nice touch as it also aligned the learner with the rest of the cohort and this provided motivation as well. Reminders and announcements and also importantly the dashboard made interfacing easy and also tracking of one's progress.
